1 1/2 lbs Roma tomatoes, (3-4 medium) sliced 1/4” thick
12-16 oz Fresh mozzarella, sliced 1/4” thick
1 bunch Fresh basil, (1/3 cup basil leaves)
3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil for drizzling 1/2 tsp salt to taste
1/4 tsp Black pepper, or to taste
2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar to taste (optional)
Assemble the tomatoes, mozzarella, basil in shape of a candy cane. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
