1 cup orzo
2 ½ cups chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon of pepper flakes
2 tablespoon of parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp of fresh parsley (optional)
Bring orzo, broth, oregano, pepper flakes to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook 13-15 minutes uncovered until the orzo is tender.
Remove from heat and stir in butter and cheese, rest 5 minutes.
Add parsley and stir. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
