Chicken Burrito Bowl

My style Chicken Burrito Bowl!

Quick an easy!

Chicken Recipe:

4 chicken breast cut in small pieces

1/2 tsp of oregano

1/2 tsp of cumin

1/2 tsp of paprika

1/2 cayenne pepper

1/2 red chili pepper

1/2 salt and pepper

1/2 Lemon juice

1 tsp Olive oil

Chipotle Beans

1 can of beans ( I used pink beans)

1 tbs of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

1/2 onion

2 garlic cloves (minced)

Olive oil

1/2 cumin

1/2 paprika

1/2 salt and pepper


For this recipe I used brown rice in individual cups, and cooked it for 1 minute in the microwave.

I prepared the chicken with all the spices and 2 tsp of lemon juice. In a pan heat olive oil and add the seasoned chicken, and cook until golden brown on both sides. Set aside

In another pot add 1 tsp of olive oil, add garlic, onions and chipotle pepper. Rinse the bean and add it to the sauce with 1 cup of water, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. Simmer until sauce is kind of thick.

Now is time to creat your burrito bowl.

In your favorite bowl add the rice, chicken, beans, pico de gallo (cilantro, tomato, onion, jalapeños, garlic, lime juice, salt and pepper) your favorite salsa, and cheese of your choice.
