Coconut Golden Milk

Golden Milk It happens to be good for you, turmeric is known to help. Is rich in immune system-boosting antioxidants which can help fight illness and infection.

It also contains ingredients known to have anti-inflammatory properties that can ease joint pain and stiffness. digestive, circulatory, respiratory.


1 can full fat coconut milk

2 tablespoons freshly powdered ginger, to taste

1 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch fine sea salt

Pinch ground black pepper

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons honey syrup

Cinnamon sticks and/or ground cinnamon to serve. I added more honey.

In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the coconut milk until you see a little bit of steam, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Add the ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, sea salt, and black pepper, and gently whisk to combine. Add the vanilla extract, and whisk to combine. Take the milk off the heat, allow it to cool slightly, and add the honey syrup.

Let the golden milk come to a bare simmer you might see some bubbles on the sides of the pot, remove from heat.

Strain off any lingering fibrous bits of ginger and turmeric through a fine mesh serve. Add more turmeric, cinnamon on top or more honey if you like.
