Garlic Cream


1 /3 salt-free butter

2 teaspoons minced garlic

1 Tablespoon of flour (all purpose flour)

1 Cup of milk

1/8 tablespoon of oregano

1/2 tablespoon of salt

1/4 tablespoon of pepper

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, don't let it burn. Once it begins to melt, take it out of the heat and shake the saucepan to allow the butter to continue melting.

Once completely melted, add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds for 1 minute, stirring.

Add the flour and stir for 1 minute to cook the flour.

Slowly, add the milk, beating constantly. Add the spices. Continue cooking for a few minutes until it thickens. Keep it warm until you are ready to serve

Good for Tostones, and Mofongos!
