Roasted Potatoes with Turmeric Seasoning


1 pound of baby red potatoes

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 1/2 tbs of olive oil

1 tsp of salt

1/2 tsp turmeric

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp of oregano

1 tsp of salt

Fresh or Dried Parsley

Parmesan cheese (optional)

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

Wash and scrub your potatoes to make sure they are nice and clean, then spread them out to let dry, about 15 minutes.

Slice each potato in half or in quarters, for larger potatoes. The potatoes should be roughly similar in size, for even roasting.

Place all the potatoes on a baking sheet

I used Calphalon Nonstick Bakeware, Brownie Pan, 9-inch by 13-inch.

Combine the olive oil and garlic in a small bowl, and mix it into the potatoes.

In a small bowl, combine all the spices: Turmeric, black pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, oregano, and salt

Sprinkle the spices over the top of the potatoes. Use your hands to massage the spices into the potatoes. Make sure each potato gets coated.
