Salmon Glazed with Honey Garlic

INGREDIENTS

Glaze Sauce

1/3 cup of honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp of lemon juice

1 tsp of red pepper flakes

3 tbsp of olive oil

4 salmon fillets, patted dry with a paper towel

1/2 tsp of salt

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 lemon, sliced into rounds

In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and red pepper flakes.

Pat dry Salmon filets and season with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat 3 tablespoons oil. When oil add salmon skin-side up. Cook salmon until deeply golden, about 6 minutes, then flip and brown the other side for 6 minutes more.

Add garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. Add the glazed sauce and cook until sauce thickens. Baste salmon with the sauce.

Garnish with sliced lemon and serve.

I served it with Roasted potatoes.

Enjoy!
