8 oz. thin spaghetti pasta regular, or wheat.
1 lb. ground Italian sausage hot , if you don’t like spicy you can use sweet.
1/3 red bell pepper diced into bite-size pieces
1/3 yellow bell pepper diced into bite-size pieces
1/3 small yellow onion diced
Spaghetti Sauce (homemade) recipe at www.picanteysabor.com or 1 jar of your favorite marinara sauce
Salt & pepper
Parmesan cheese for topping
Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling, salted water for 10 minutes, or according to the package directions, until al dente. Drain well.
While the pasta is cooking, heat up a large skillet over medium-low heat. Add the sausage to the pan. Break it apart and cook for 5 minutes.
Add the red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, and onion to the pan with the sausage.
Cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the veggies become soft and then add the sauce. Mix together and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add in the pasta in the skillet and cook for another 3 minutes.
Add grated parmesan cheese on top.
